Welcome to Stevie's Tales

You might wonder who is Stevie? Well, Stevie is a lively 6-year-old who adores bedtime stories, especially the ones his mom created just for him. These are tales about him, his imaginary friends, a few adventurous kids, and a sprinkle of nature.

So far, the Stevie's Tales series are ten magical, giggle-filled books—six published and another four coming soon. Each of these illustrated children's stories opens a door to a world where kindness, compassion, and friendship reign, inviting young readers into a place where fairness and fun go hand in hand.

Some characters in these fun stories for kids are inspired by real-life people and the amazing companionship of beloved pets.

The character of Stevie takes inspiration from my youngest son. He is mischievous and full of energy, always stirring up laughter!

Vovka, my middle son, adds his gentle and curious nature to the tales, finding magic in ordinary moments.

My mom, strict but forgiving, brings warmth and wisdom into the stories. Discover how she inspired me on the About Me page.

And the cats? Well, with six unique personalities in the family, our cats contribute plenty of playful inspiration!

The inspiration behind my stories

My stories also draw from everyday moments that linger with us, even when we believe them long forgotten. These moments sometimes pop up in surprising ways. In Magic House, for example, one scene is inspired by my son’s funny routine with his grandpa.

My oldest son Serg would try to sneak into his grandpa’s study, even though he wasn’t supposed to. Grandpa, craving a little peace, would hide in his study, only to hear my son knocking and calling, “Grandpa, I know you’re in there!”

This playful back-and-forth between them became one of our favourite memories—and a story that readers of all ages can laugh along with.
